Acupuncture | Traditional Chinese Medicine | 5 Element Theory

Aime is skilled in both Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Five Element Acupuncture focuses on balancing emotions and spirit, while TCM aims to harmonize patterns of disharmony. Both methods work to relieve pain and restore balance in body, mind, and heart by regulating the flow of energy or “Qi.”

In your first session, Aime provides a differential diagnosis and relief from ailments, addressing the root cause rather than just symptoms. She uses your Health History, Pulse Diagnosis, and Tongue Diagnosis to create a personalized healing plan. Aime believes in guiding patients on their healing journey, akin to a gardener setting the right conditions for a plant to grow naturally.

Acupuncture in general involves stimulating specific points on the body, usually with fine, sterile "needles"—which Aime prefers to call "Healing Whiskers" for their delicate nature. Her gentle and relaxing technique often leaves patients feeling soothed. Aime’s background in Bodywork and Yoga, combined with techniques like Shiatsu, Tui Na Massage, Gua Sha, and moxibustion, further enhances her treatments. All acupuncture is performed with single-use, sterile, disposable needles.
